Arsenal welcome Man United to the Emirates Stadium in game round 23 of the Premier League (PL) campaign.

The Gunners still lead the Premier League title race, while the visitors are aiming to break into the top four. So, it promises to be an exciting clash in north London. Kick-off is at 4:30 pm on Sunday, 25th January 2026. Craig Pawson is the match referee.

Arsenal vs Man United Prediction

I go for Arsenal to beat Man United. Only Liverpool and Man City have claimed a point at the Emirates this term, so I cannot see United holding out for even a draw.

The Gunners’ excellent home form and United’s shaky away results lead me to Arsenal -1 in the handicap market (1.98 at Bet365).

I also like under 2.5 goals. 80% of the last five H2Hs featured less than three goals. Also, Arsenal scored two or less in four of their last five home games.

Arsenal can add to their six clean sheets in 11 PL home outings. So, I will back both teams to score “no” (2.0 at Betfred).

Arsenal Analysis

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal keep grinding out the wins and remain top of the PL standings. 50 points from 22 league matches is a seven-point lead over their nearest rivals, Man City and Aston Villa.

Arsenal are unbeaten at home in 2025-2026, with nine wins and two draws, scoring 26 and conceding only five goals. Their 2026 includes four wins in six games to go 12 matches unbeaten. The north Londoners have scored ten (two per game) and leaked just four (0.4 per game) in their last five games.

Winning 3-1 at Inter Milan in midweek saw Arsenal make it seven Champions League wins in a row. That made up for a 0-0 draw away to Nottingham Forest in PL round 22. However, a 3-2 triumph over Chelsea in the EFL Cup semi-final first leg and a 4-1 thumping of Portsmouth in the FA Cup showed Arsenal’s goalscoring power.

Earlier season injury problems are easing, as only Riccardo Calafiori (muscle injury), Max Dowman (ankle), and Piero Hincapie (groin) are ruled out. No Arsenal players are suspended.

Player in Focus

Viktor Gyokeres has attracted criticism, but the Swedish forward has nine goals in 27 Arsenal appearances. His midweek goal at Inter Milan could provide an extra confidence boost. Gyokeres anytime goalscorer is 2.80 at Betway.

Man United Analysis

22 games into the season, and Man United occupy fifth place in the PL table, one point off the top four. The Red Devils have 35 points (W9 D8 L5) and are five PL games without defeat. Last Saturday’s commanding 2-0 derby win over Man City followed a 2-1 home defeat to Brighton in the FA Cup. But United have drawn four of their previous six PL matches, including draws away to Burnley (2-2) and Leeds (1-1) to open 2026.

United gained just 14 points in 11 matches away from Old Trafford (W3 D5 L3) under previous head coach Ruben Amorim. Can Michael Carrick’s 4-2-3-1 system spark an upturn in performances on the road? The recent return of Bryan Mbeumo, Amad Diallo, and Noussair Mazraoui from AFCON offers key tactical options.

Central defender Matthijs de Ligt is the major injury concern, but Joshua Zirkzee is doubtful. United have no suspensions for the trip to north London.

Bryan Mbeumo has eight goals and one assist in 18 games for United. But he might struggle to break through Arsenal’s defence. So, you could look at Mbeumo 1+ shots on target at 1.91 (Bet365).

Arsenal to claim a routine victory

Arsenal will stride to another home win, proving too much for an inconsistent Man United team. The Gunners’ well-drilled defence could also record another clean sheet.
