I already play at the sportsbook and casino, so I wanted to explore the Bet365 Poker betting options. I was delighted to find a slick, modern poker interface.

From the homepage, I went to the Casino section, then “Poker” in the top-level menu. The Poker page shares the familiar green and grey background colour scheme.

Below the main menu, I found two green buttons: Download Poker and Play in Browser, which I will discuss below.

How to download the Bet365 poker client

To play poker from my browser, I clicked the “Casino” tab and selected “Poker”. Otherwise, I could download the poker client as follows:

Once I downloaded the poker app to my PC, I was keen to discover the tables available. As expected, I found a range of game formats and options. Here are the highlights.

Cash Games

On the main game page, I noticed No Limit Hold ‘Em Cash Games, with low stakes from €0.05 to €0.50 and buy-ins from just €3.00 all the way to €50 per game round.

Upon entering my first cash game, I got assigned a cool nickname (which I can change anytime). From the left sidebar, my balance was split into real money and tournament money (T-money). I also discovered options to check my hand history, enter the cashier, change the game settings, or take a break from the table.

Other cash games include Omaha, 5 Card Omaha, and Six Plus Hold’em, with a 36-card deck that plays without 2 to 5 value cards for faster hands.

Twister Games

I enjoyed playing Twister poker with buy-ins from €5-100 and up to £100,000 prize pools (for €100 buy-in games).

Fast-paced Twister “Sit & Go” (SnG) was a unique single-table tournament experience. I faced two other players in a jackpot game offering a random prize worth 1,000x my buy-in (€0.10 to €200+).

The poker homepage “Featured Games” section also had Age of The Gods Twister – a Sit & Go Twister tournament game with a progressive mystery jackpot.

Final thoughts

My overview of Bet365 poker confirmed my expectations. Minor points aside, I had a positive experience. A variety of games and offers, like freeroll tickets and Twister leaderboards, offered plenty to explore. I also enjoyed playing against other players, not the house.
